A hand-painted, recycled cardboard mural installation. Initially rooted in repeated imagery from my sketchbook, the project evolved week by week, growing into its own immersive world. This work is delved from obsessions of patterns, plants, shared spaces and the critters that inhabit in between.

Working with local natural materials that are endemic to the lower mainland such as plants, seaweed and scrap wood, etc. By exploring this multiplicity of these materials though a deep sense of curiosity that that stems and grows form the question "what can I make with or from this?"

An exploration of wood relief printmaking on various materials, ex.hand dyed fabric, paper towels found in studio, translucent paper, etc. The installation includes the woodblock itself, carving tool and the materials used in the dyeing process of the paper and fabric.
